Abstract

Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is an autosomal dominant inheritance syndrome. Although the main manifestation of this disease is the presence of numerous colon adenomas, upper gastrointestinal tract involvement also occurs. A report of a young patient with gastric polyposis (more than 100 polyps) was presented. There was a brief updated review of the topic focused on endoscopic findings, including updated suggestions on gastric polyps in FAP management and monitoring.
